WASHING

Pre-treat stain:: If necessary, gently dab a stain with a damp cloth, avoiding the need to wash the entire garment.
Do not soak: Avoid prolonged soaking, as it can damage the fibers.
Hand wash: For best results (if you have an older washing machine) hand wash in cold water (30 degrees) with a few drops wool/cashmere detergent or baby shampoo. Gently press the fabric don’t rub or wring it.
Machine wash: When you have a newer model, machine was works perfect. Always choose the wool program en choose for 20 or 30 degrees and RPM 600 or 800.
Steam: Some newer models washing machines have a steam option, We always prefer steaming. If you don’t have that option you can hang it in the bathroom during or after a shower or use a hand steamer.

DO'S & DON'TS
Never tumble dry: The heat will damage wool fibers.
Dry flat: Lay the garment on a flat surface or drying rack to prevent stretching and sagging.
Gently squeeze: Lightly squeeze out excess water without twisting or wringing.
Roll in a towel: For hand-washed items, roll the garment in a dry towel to absorb more moisture before laying it flat to finish drying.
Avoid direct sunlight and heat: Do not dry wool in direct sunlight or near a heat source, as it can cause shrinkage and discoloration.
Store folded: Fold wool items and store them on a shelf or in a drawer to maintain their shape. Avoid hanging them.
Protect from moths: Ensure wool is clean and dry before storing, and use cedar balls or other moth repellents in your drawers or closets. Store in a breathable container, not a plastic bag.
Ironing: Avoid ironing if possible. If necessary, use a very low heat setting and a pressing cloth, or use steam.

PILLING
Pilling is normal, especially when new. Use a pilling comb or fabric shaver carefully to remove pills.
When using a fabric shaver, it is important that you place the garment on a flat surface and that you do not shave off loose threads or you will make a hole in your garment.
Use light pressure, especially on delicate wools, and be careful to avoid areas with zippers & buttons.
